Good news

We just returned from a very fun week-long vacation to Costa Rica that I will blog about once I get the pictures in order. Until then I thought I'd share with you our good news about Joseph's job and some pictures that we took a couple weeks ago when we all ended up matching after church one Sunday. The news is that we've known for a little while now that once Joseph's development program ended in June that Bank of America could possibly be moving us to another location elsewhere in the country. We felt like we weren't finished with LA yet and hoped that we'd be able to stay here, but we would've been okay if we'd been moved somewhere else, too. We finally got the word that we are in fact going to be staying. They're kind of making a position for Joseph since there isn't technically a place here for him, so we feel very blessed that it's worked out for us to remain here a little while longer. We don't have any idea how long it will be, but we're glad to know that come July we won't be having to move cross-country or anything. We don't see ourselves here permanently and I personally would like to own a home before I'm 40 which I don't think we want to do here in this expensive market (can you say half a million for even the smallest little places?) so we're going to take advantage of our great housing deal we've currently got going and save up some more money, then maybe in a year or so we'll feel ready to move on to a more permanent home for our family.

Yeah! LA's the best =) I'm always jealous when you post those nice sunny pics. I'm also glad you don't have to move across the country! And, by the way, love the matchy-matchy =)

Yeah for Cali! I drove through there, just past you guys a couple of weeks ago and I started to miss it...then I hit the 101...dead stop...not missing it so much!! It would be fun if we were in your situation, though. Congrats!

What great pictures! Your girls are getting so big and they're SO cute.

Congratulations of the job, although we would have been happy to have you move closer to the midwest. :)

Such a cute family!

I'm with you on the housing situation! We love it here in NorCal, but the price of houses is ridiculous! Even now when it is supposedly incredibly low, I still can't swallow spending so much for so little. Some of our friends just bought a somewhat small house for about what my brother will be paying for a ginormous house in Utah. Crazy!

Glad you get to enjoy Cali for a little longer!
