Apparently we made such a cute girl the first time...

...that we decided to do it again. We got the official verdict today at our ultrasound appointment, and it looks like we're having another girl! I admit I was pretty suprised because I was pretty certain that I knew it was a boy, but I was wrong, and I am very glad to be wrong. I'm excited for Sophie to have a sister so close to her age, as I always wanted one when I was growing up and didn't get one until I was already 10. She looks healthy and has all the parts she's supposed to have, and was moving around like a maniac all through the ultrasound. Looks like we've got another active one on our hands! :) Now the big name debate begins again...dang, we had it picked out if it was a boy! I don't want to start it all over again! Oh well. I'm just glad I'm feeling great (I haven't been sick at all, just tired) and we couldn't be happier. :D

YAY! How exciting! This will be so easy on your spending too! You already have everything you need. Boys are great but a hndle full so your time will come, and Sophie is such a girly girl, what could be better than a sister? Congratulations!

We totally thought Lucy was a boy too and had a boy name all figured out as well. We didn't officially decide on Lucy until she was about 2 hours old! Good Luck! Girls are such a piece of heaven.

Congratulations! Your daughters will have so much fun playing together and enjoying all the girly things together. My oldest is a girl and would LOVE a sister, and sometimes I worry that it will be very late in her life (or never, gulp) that she gets one. At least we know that boys are a riot and we love them too!
Good luck picking a name! That is a hard part - but so great once you find the one that just feels and sounds right!

It was the same for me with Rachel. We all thought she was a boy and since we did not find out until I was 7 months along it was a big surprise. I can tell you that I love having two girls together and would not want it different for them, they are best friends.
