Baby Love

Avery has started cooing and smiling at us. It completely melts my heart every time. One little smile goes a long way around here. I can wake up in the middle of the night with her any time if only she'll give me a little smile. This morning I had her sitting on my lap facing away from me, and she craned her neck around to stare at me until she got my attention so that she could "talk" to me. It's so adorable and I wish I had my camera then. I can't seem to catch that darling look on camera. She's 6 weeks old!
Here's kind of a little smile, the best I could get.
Avery also has the biggest yawns I've ever seen on a baby. They're so funny to see.

She's growing up so fast! Do ya'll want to do dinner this Sunday? We could come up there if it's easier. We might ask of your services next weekend during the move anyway...

Awh! She is just a doll! I think she does resemble Sophie.

She is so cute!!! I can't believe how big she is getting. Does she have the same color of hair as Sophie?

Oh my word, I love her! What a fun stage :) She is adorable, Becky! Hey-I am dying to know what you thought of THE book?! (Don't read anymore if you haven't finished it yet) I loved it because I never thought she could wrap it up so happily for everyone, and she did. I loved how I was surprised and didn't expect the twists she had. I loved that we got that maternal part that you and I wanted AND we also got to see her as an uber-cool vampire! And I even liked Jacob once he wasn't a threat anymore :) (And how she finally got over him, and yet it made so much sense once I learned the connection.) I just thought it was the ultimate happy ending and I loved how she wrapped it all up. My only thing is I wish it was LONGER-I could have read and read....I've been surprised how many people didn't like it, though, and so I really want to find out what you think!! We have to talk :)

Oh what a sweet girl she I can't believe how the time flies. Crazy. It does look like you have had a lot of visitors and been very busy the last few week. Fun!! Good luck with sophie, she will soon be ok with the little sister, but it stinks in the mean time.

K, swing advice. Best 100 bucks I've ever spent...a swing that goes side to side NOT front to back. My babies hate those kind when they are little. The one I have actually can do both, so when they get to be about 4 months old, I switch it to front and back. When Luke had acid reflux I caved in and bought a swing and I never looked back. He loved it and I haven't met a baby yet who doesn't...it is way more soothing. He used it until he was almost 5 months old:) I got rid of my swing that went front to back.
Good luck with the "reverting back to baby stage" with Sophie! So funny but not so fun for you!
