2 Years Old!

Sophie turned the big 2 today! She's been acting like a 2-year old for about 9 months now, so it's about time that it's official! :)
Any guesses on what she wanted for her party's theme? Here's the cake I made for it. I like everything but her lips, but I just ran out of time to make those look perfect, so oh well.We celebrated with Sophie's twin and friend Kate who also turned 2 today. Together they got the candles out very nicely. She got an aquadoodle, a puzzle, a ball popper toy, and a water table for presents.

Last week Grandma Bob gave her Bambi and a Tinker Bell shirt that lights up. She also got some great gifts two weeks ago from Grandma Lamb. Thanks so much to both of you!
We blew out some candles for practice last week, and it took a few tries to get it. This is her first attempt.

We sure love this sweet, silly, beautiful 2-year old. Happy Birthday, Sweetheart!

Thanks for the fun party! And Sophie is the most mature, non-tantrum-throwing 2-year-old I know! I love that last pic--is Kate rubbing off on her? I've never seen Sophie make that face, but I'm sure she's seen Kate do it at least a million times!

oh, and my kids seem to start acting the next age 6-9 months early too. lucy is definitely been a 4 year old for awhile (which surprisingly seems to be harder than 3?) and abby is two. i have my hands full for now!

Love the cake. mine wasn't perfect either, but it was my first and a two year old doesn't care about the details. I can't even get savannah to watch tinkerbell she just reads her little mermaid book so she will be ariel for halloween too.

I can't believe she is 2 already! Excellent Tinkerbell cake-I would like to order one for my birthday-do you think it would ship okay to GA? : ) Or maybe you could just ship yourself here and make it? That would be my first choice! I love you and hope y'all are doing well!

She is so adorable. She reminds me of myself at that age...okay so not really, she is so much cuter! Love that last picture. And that bambi picture is great!
Happy Birthday Sweet Sophie!
Becky, are you serious? You actually made that cake? You should have messed up or something...it looks store bought.

I've heard about taking the binky away at 18 months...fyi, I think it is mean, mean, mean! I think they are at a fragile age already and don't understand why things like that have to change!:):) I heard you take it away BEFORE 1 year(before they really have a clue about what is going on and aren't super addicted to it)or after 2...but you know everyone does it differently. I'm just glad both my boys didn't really care. Luke keeps telling me he doesn't need a binky anymore when he wakes up from a nap or bedtime...it is really cute.
