A Sunbeam! A Sunbeam!

"Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam to shine for Him each day!"
Sophie has hit a major milestone this year in finally joining Primary.  She was very proud of herself for graduating from Nursery and being one of the big kids in her new class, the Sunbeams.  She had kind of a rough first day even though they had taken the soon-to-be-Sunbeam kids into Primary a few times before, but for some reason she was super clingy to me that first half hour.  She wasn't ever even clingy when she first went to Nursery at 18 months, so I don't know what happened.  Luckily I was able to slip out to go teach the Young Women and she was fine.  After church she was happy as can be and loved Sunbeams, so I hope she will continue to enjoy it.  The music people tell me that she sings the songs out so loud and right on pitch and is doing great, so that made me happy to hear.  "I'll be a sunbeam for Him!"

Luke is having a hard time adjusting too. When I peek in on him, he is laying on the floor bored out of his mind:)
Great Christmas pics! Love the cali baby in the snow picture. Looks like you were surrounded by lots and lots of family!
I love that sky picture of Avery in the sky on your hike...awesome!

Hooray for Sophie! It's hard to believe she's already three. I'm teaching the 12 Sunbeams in our ward this year and it's so fun, and stressful at the same time. :) I think they all go through some adjustment period, but it's short lived and I'm sure Sophie will be absolutely great in there!

When you come visit us in WA Sophie will have to come to my sunbeam class. That would be rad!
