Busy Week

We have had a really busy week. As of last Friday we are now living in Glendora, California, and are so glad to finally be here. Thanks to all who helped with the loading, cleaning, unloading, unpacking, and everything else that goes into a move! We love our townhouse and having so much room at last! We had a nice first day in our new ward and felt very welcomed there (they don't get new people very often) and love this little "village" (as they call it here) that we live in. We are almost totally unpacked, though nothing's on the walls yet. We are getting familiar with LA freeways as we went down to Newport Beach today for my doctor's appointment (baby's doing great) and let Sophie play in the ocean for her first time ever (which she loved!) Then we went to Peter and Abby's in Ladera Ranch and saw their cute place. So that's a little of what we've been up to. We'll post pictures of our house once we get all moved in, but here are a few pictures from right before we left Provo and of the actual move. Some ducks wandered into our yard and Sophie had so much fun throwing bread to them (the pieces that she didn't eat first, that is) and chasing them around.

After graduation we weren't in the mood to wait in the half an hour lines to get pictures in front of things on campus, so we went back a few days later with our matching BYU shirts from Bob and got some pictures then.

Got the first part of the sign down, now we're onto the second.

Sophie was pretty scared of the cougar so we had to take this quick.

My former roommate Danna came down to say goodbye with her darling little girl Julianna. We'll miss them a lot.

Our good friends the Jones's were in town the week we moved so we had so much fun seeing them again and reuniting bestest friends Sophie and Abby. Too bad they don't live closer to each other! They're two peas in a pod and so cute together!

Here's the rental truck with Joseph's truck being towed behind. All in all the train was about 60 feet long and we were so grateful to Joseph's dad, Craig, who drove this so Joseph didn't have to!

We had so much help from so many people on both ends of our move. Here's the unloading crew in Glendora, consisting of Craig & Bob (Joseph's parents), us, and Maybeth and my Grandpa Lamb (it's Maybeth's townhouse that we're renting). Thanks so much for all your help!

Becky, sorry we never were able to get together. I really wanted to see you one last time, but thankfully it sounds like your move went smoothly.

I'm so glad I can still check up on your family and see when you have your baby.

By the way, you look so adorable in the first picture in your matching BYU t-shirts. You are a really cute pregnant girl.

Love ya.

Hey, I forgot to ask you. Who's the lucky person who got to take your spot as the Relief Society President?
