Sophie and I went with some friends and their babies to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy. It was neat and Sophie loooved all the fish, especially the little sharks and the rays in the tide pool where she could splash her hands in the water. But just in case you're wondering if you should make the trip, know that we all agreed that it was way overpriced for what you get ($8) and your kids might have as much fun looking at the fish in the tank at the doctor's office or at grandma's house. But we still had a great time and got some fun pictures.
In front of the jellyfish (which we learned do not have brains :D)
Sophie could stare at the fish for hours, she loved seeing all their colors and varieties.
Watching the sharks eat their lunch in their tank.
Sophie's favorite part was the tide pool and she splashed in the water there for a long time. She kept saying "wawa" to get me to go back to it.

Thanks for letting me carpool with you!
Someone told me you were sick too? Is that right? If so, I hope you feel better soon too. I think this month has been like death camp for me...horrible! I can't wait for it to be over! I had to have a shot to stop me from puking...those shots are painful and I hope I never have to do it again! How are you feeling? Are you finished with the morning sickness? Do you know the gender yet? maybe you told me and I forgot...
Looks like a very fun outing! I think I am going to have to take my boys there. They would love it!
Oh and I would LOVE to borrow the other two books. I was tempted to buy them the other day but our budget won't allow it right now and of course the library never has them.
From reading Emily's comment it sounds like you have had morning sickness. I am so sorry for that. I hope it goes away soon. If you ever need me to watch Sophie for a few hours so you can rest please let me know. I know that Jax would love a playmate!
Looks like fun! I don't know...anything that would keep Landon entertained for that long could be well worth $8:)
Thanks for the feedback on the living planet aquarium. That is the precice reason I haven't been there yet- was worried it was dumb. I love aquariums and have to check them all out. Sea World is still #1 then Baltimore Aquarium ranks #2- of the ones I've seen. Never go to the DC aquarium or to the one in Mandalay Bay- what a waist of $20.
Thanks for coming! It was fun to get out and visit, even if we had to pay $8 to do it :)
The National aquarium is like $22 a person! I guess there's probably a bit more to see, but you kinda need to get used to those kind of prices here on the East Coast.
